This presentation will identify and explore four major ethical traps that rehabilitation professionals might encounter, and introduce five steps for helping us make ethical decisions. Case study scenarios will be used for some small group discussion to assist in applying the five steps of ethical decision making.

Learning Objectives:
  • Participants will identify four major ethical traps.
  • Participants will be able to identify five Steps in Ethical Decision Making.
  • Participants will be able to describe functional perspectives on ethics found within day-to-day practice of their profession.
