    Join to learn more about lighting (lumens and watts; tried and tested lamps; where to find affordable, functional lamps), how to use color and contrast in evaluations to provide practical solutions for daily activities, and information about the variety of colored filters and where to find them.

    Outcomes of Presentation

    1. Understand some of the nuances of lighting and lamps available and how to find them.
    2. Learn how to add a color and contrast component to evaluations and how a person can utilize that information in daily activities.
    3. Gain information about the variety of colored filters and where to find them.

      Amy Wurf is Education and Vision Services Director for the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired in Madison. She is a Certified Low Vision Therapist with over 25 years of experience working with adults who have vision impairment. Amy worked for the Veterans Administration for 19 years before joining the Council in 2015.
