AT Decision-Making: Using the WATI Process

    • Overview

    Thank you

This live web event has ended. Thank you for attending.

    Description

Assistive Technology (AT) decision-making is often a random approach based on devices with which the IEP team has experience, resulting in the use of the same AT regardless of its appropriateness for individual students. The WATI process is a proven systematic method to evaluate AT to meet student needs.

    Outcomes of Presentation

    1. Learn about the WATI process of evaluating AT needs.
    2. Learn about 6 WATI forms.
    3. Learn how the WATI process aids IEP teams in making appropriate AT decisions for students with vision loss.
