    Description

This session will present results and implications of how COVID-19 impacted O&M instruction and how it affected families, professionals, and students with visual impairments. The presentation will focus on the research results from individual responses from the Access and Engagement survey from the American Foundation for the Blind. Attendees will contribute with their own experiences in a roundtable format. Primary Learning Objectives:
    1. Attendees will understand the impact that COVID had on O&M services and families, professionals, and students involved in this process.
    2. Attendees will contribute their perspectives and learn from the experiences of others in the session.
    3. Attendees will understand the potential issues with remote and adapted O&M instruction as well the future of O&M services.
