Magan Rowan is an Assistive Technology Specialist with
the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS), Services for the
Blind and Visually Impaired. She has worked for the state of Oklahoma for
nearly seven years. She received her Master’s degree in Education at the
University of Massachusetts, with an emphasis in Vision Studies. Magan is a
Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapist (CVRT) and she recently became a
Certified Assistive Technology Instructional Specialist for People with Visual
Impairments (CATIS). She currently specializes in evaluating individuals for
assistive technology needs and providing training in using assistive technology
software and devices.
Amy is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Amy has been involved in pediatric occupational therapy since graduating from Tulsa Community College in 2011, where she earned her Associates of Applied Science. Amy's clinical experience in occupational therapy has included working with ages ranging from infants to 18 years of age. Amy began her career at ABLE Tech in 2018 as the liaison for the SoonerStart Assistive Technology (AT) collaboration and the AT consultant in the AT categories of Daily Living, Environmental Adaptations, Seating, Positioning, and Mobility, Recreation, and Vehicle Modifications for individuals of all ages.
