Description

Wearables help to make up the difference in a workplace environment. Many times handhelds and CCTVs aren't the best for certain career paths. Wearables such as Envision Glasses can make up the difference by providing hand free working distance, magnification, and OCR. We will be demonstrating the Envision Glasses, as well as sharing testimonials of individuals currently using them in the their workplaces.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to correctly identify when a wearable device is the correct device for a job.
Participants will be able to understand the efficiency of the Envision Glasses.
Participants will be able to understand the significance of OCR in the workplace
Participants will be able to identify clients that a wearable solution would work best.

Lesa Kretschmer is founder and CEO of Florida Vision Technology. Lesa opened this small woman owned business in 2000, and has been providing technology and services for individuals in the Blindness field for over 30 years. We are currently the local distributor for Envision Glasses in Mississippi.
Jose Citron

Jose Citron is Florida Vision Technology's Braille Guru. Jose who uses braille himself, is a certified HumanWare Blindness products trainer, and has been working for Florida Vision Technology and training clients for over four years.
